Yes, we are fans of Marcin Slysz’s designs. After the Techno 1, the Spydichef and the Swayback could convince us completely, it was absolutely clear that also the Techno 2 in our assortment may not be missing in any case. Especially for friends of more compact EDC knives, this little sting could be quite interesting.

First of all, the Techno 2 is based largely on the first version of this knife, but has been revised and improved a little.

First of all, there is the handle. This has now been designed a little straighter, so that even large hands can comfortably find space with three fingers and hold the knife well. Of course, here again – as with all Spyderco Slysz designs – a milled titanium construction was used, whose Framelock closes the knife quite cleanly. There is also a matching wire clip that secures the knife in your pocket in the best deep-carry fashion.

The blade shape of the Techno 2 has also been changed a bit compared to its predecessor and now looks a bit sportier/razier. The used CTS-XHP steel was (as usual with Spyderco) incredibly sharp ground and holds, thanks to its powder metallurgical manufacturing method, long the sharpness. By the way, the Techno 2, just like the other Slysz designs, is manufactured at Spyderco’s manufacturing facility in Taiwan, which is famous for its superior quality. Despite its compact size, the Techno 2 is an absolutely full-fledged pocket knife that not only looks good, but also easily handles larger cutting tasks.
